Over the last years, Enfants du Monde decided to narrow geographically its activities, selecting its zones of intervention acccording to their population human development opportunities, its prior experience in the area and especially the situation of children. Enfants du Monde has a solid knowledge in the countries where it currently operates with over 20 years presence in most of them.

At present the association is active in Switzerland and in 7 other countries, representing
4 zones :

Latin America: Guatemala, Salvador and Colombia Caribbean: Haiti

South Asia: Bangladesh Sahel: Burkina Faso and Niger

 

In each of the zones, Enfants du Monde operates within regional programmes in a coordinated approach These programmes are set up after an analysis of the childhood conditions at national and regional levels in order to identify the priorities in the areas of action (education, health, training).

The regionalization of the programmes also allows national associations to exchange experiences, resources, infrastructures and offer sustainable solutions in common and on a larger scale.
