Education sponsorship: "Every child has a right to a quality education"

In order to make this vision a reality, Enfants du Monde has been developing education programmes in partnership with local and international organisations for many years.

Niger

The goal of this project is to provide schooling to children 9 to 13 years old who have never gone to school or have quit school too soon. This four year basic education gives a better future to children and protects them from abuse and child labor.

Guatemala

This project offers Maya children bilingual schooling. The goal of this instruction, which is adapted to their culture, is to improve their prospects of development in their community and to become productive members of Guatemalan society.

Children from an impoverished district of Dhaka are offered the opportunity of attending school for four years in order to receive a quality education adapted to their daily life.

Slawomir Plata, photographer, Switzerland:
“Spending a few days in a Maya village in Guatemala was an unforgettable experience for me. It makes me happy to see Enfants du Monde’s educational project is taken so seriously by the population and that the school is the heart of the village for both the children and their parents."

With 222 Swiss francs, you can support the education training of a Guatemalan teacher for one year.
