Enfants du Monde (Children of the World) is a Swiss non-governmental organisation, founded in 1968 and based in Geneva. Its mission statement is to help disadvantaged children through projects geared towards the developmment of education and health. The quality and transparency of our activities have been recognised by the Swiss quality label ZEWO certification for over 20 years. |

Haiti - the teacher Evelyne Thermildort relates:
«The children that we take care of here in Bel Air, a poor district of the Haitian capital Port-au-Prince, suffer and reproduce what they live daily: aggressions, kidnapping and violence that they live at home. Their living explains their aggressiveness, the lack of concentration and the necessity of an adapted instruction. We bring them a good lifestyle and some hygiene notions as well as a free and healthy breakfast. This kindergarten helped financially by Enfants du Monde, is also a place of apprenticeship for the parents. We discuss together problems regarding the economical and social situation and other delicate questions such as ill-treating.
