Enfants du Monde (Children of the World) is a Swiss non-governmental organisation, founded in 1968 and based in Geneva. Its mission statement is to help disadvantaged children through projects geared towards the developmment of education and health. The quality and transparency of our activities have been recognised by the Swiss quality label ZEWO certification for over 20 years. |

Burkina Faso - Amado Fidèle Kaboré, dressmaker, tells us: "I've been working as a dressmaker for seven years. I've followed the craftsmen training financed by Enfants du Monde because I wanted to improve my skills. and acquire new ones. During a two weeks course, we have studied in-depth pattern drawing and tissue cutting. Our instructors also showed how to train apprentices and made realize that I had been teaching my apprentices without any system or structured program. Now, I can instruct them in a way that they can understand all and show them the techniques step by step. I show them, for instance, how to cut fabrics to make trousers."
